Wedding & Event Planning

If you know a bride-to-be, don’t let them miss this article.

In the US, hiring a Wedding Planner for your wedding is the first thing brides organise. Here in Australia, most brides think that a Wedding Planner will blow their budget. Truth is, if every bride took the time to?consider?the benefits of a Wedding Planner to their wedding day and the expense that they can save them, the rest would be history.

Wedding Planners will save you time:The average time to plan a wedding is currently set at approx 250hrs (this is the average only). If you struggle to fit in free time for yourself, imagine trying to fit in an extra 250hrs to plan your wedding (4.8hrs/week for 1yr of planning). We will sit on the net and google all of your requirements, call suppliers and even attend meetings with vendors so that you can make a faster educated decision on bookings. Collate samples, design room theming or layouts to help you free up your time.

Wedding Planners can save you money:In some situations a Wedding Planner may have in place a service arrangement with a supplier that will provide you with a discount. We are able to provide brides in Sydney, the Central Coast and throughout the Hunter Region discounts on services and products provided throughout these areas. You can be assured that Your Special Day, does not receive any commissions for recommending a service to brides. All decision are made by the couple, with only requested unbiased thoughts provided by Your Special Day when asked.

Wedding Planners know what you may not:Wedding Planners have planned more weddings and events than the 1 a single bride is planning for. Your Wedding Planner will be full of knowledge and advice?on colors, themes, trends, flavours, sizes, timing, suppliers, etiquette, gifts, what is available at what time of the year etc… If they don’t know they will be all too willing to find out for you.

Wedding Planners can be your best friend and support:As the client a Wedding Planner is there to ensure that you are happy and your needs (and wants) are met for your wedding day. Your Wedding Planner should support your and seek your dreams for the day. This should also include supporting you through any family interference or suggestion that resolves in disagreements. Mothers of the bride/groom can often have a lot to input into the planning, this is a separate etiquette to consider all together, but as your Wedding Planner is not part of the family they can provide an unbiased opinion for you to consider.

Wedding Planners are creative:Your Wedding Planner is trained to identify creative ideas to enhance your wedding. If your Wedding Planner has not suggested something creative in line with your heritage, family, hobbies etc, you have chosen the wrong one.

Wedding Planners are prepared:With wedding after wedding experience, we are constantly updating our ‘Emergency Kit’. This makes us planned for just about every scenario that is possible at a wedding. We have cleaned and stitched and mended?wedding gowns, fixed decorations, reseated unhappy guests, dealt with late vendors

Our services at Your?Special Day?are flexible. You are our client and we don’t believe that by setting a limit of how many?meetings or vendor negotiations that we will deal with, can get you the best products, services or deals for your wedding.
